Dear Ian,

I Just wanted to thank you very much for running me back to camp Saturday.

I Really appreciated it as I hadn’t felt as ill as I did for a long time - was rather embarrasing as turned out to be heat stroke - which all the Scouts & explorers managed to avoid, fortunately I was well again by morning and able to complete the second day.

Again - thank you so much it was really very kind of you"

"Stayed here for a week at the beginning of the month - was not sure what to expect for such a big site.

The touring side of the site, 41 pitches, steps to the beach, very clean and well kept with a warden on site and you'd think you where on a small site.

I've read a few negative comments about the shower/toilet facilities but we found the area warm, clean and the showers where great - hot and very powerful.

Location good for Cromer, Sheringham, Holt etc with a bus stop outside the gates in both directions.

All in all a great site with fab sea views but watch out for the wind! Would definitely use this site again"

"We did easter weekend here and it was brilliant. The pitch we had was right on the cliff edge overlooking the sea with sherringham to our left and cromer to our right.

We had the most fantastic views and didn’t even bother to put up our awning, we parked sideways on and had lovely views. Sherringham you can walk to over the hill or down the sands, we like the sands. Cromer also we walked down to along the sands. We got a bus back. These run all day so if your feeling tired its easy. Sherringham a great shopping place, nice town. Cromer ok but not as good, we thought. Steam train journey you must do.

The staff on site helpful especially the warden who helped us with a electric extension free of charge. Shower block a little dated but ok. Be ready to do a detour at kings lynn, we did and boy did it save queuing"

"Dear Tim and Steve,

We would like to thank you for having us on the park for the last 22 years we have seen a lot of nice changes in that time, but we are also 22 years older and now in our mid seventies and felt it was time to give it up mainly the driving was getting to much.

You have got a very respectful and efficient manager who is a credit to your company and the rest of the workmen are very polite and helpful.

So thank you once again."

Dear Staff,

Our thanks to you all for your hard work during 2012

Each time we have come on site this year it had been truly lovely and it has been a pleasure to be here. The grass cutting, strimming and the brook have looked brilliant.

Three cheers to everyone and a great big thank you!

"To All associated with Beeston Regis, May I take this time to thank each and every member of your staff and fellow campers for the stirling effort that was made on Thursday, during the freak storm that hit us.It proves that there are many good hearted people on this planet. It was a great all round team effort in extreme conditions. We got off fairly lightly with a small tear and split pole. I hope no one was hurt. Once again many many thanks to everyone who helped us get our tent down."

Dear Ian,

Firstly can I say thank you for your help during the events of the 30th August and especially for letting us stay in the mobile homes overnight. We have only just managed to sort everything out after getting it back to our church and cleaning everything to put it away in storage. It certainly was windy, the worst we have experienced since we lost the whole site in 1996.

Many Thanks

Best wishes and Bright blessings

Review From UKcampsites

Camper visited in August 2012;

This is our third year of spending 5 weeks of the summer in our caravan at Beeston Regis, some may think that pitch 13 would be unlucky, oh how wrong they would be! Most of the pitches are nice and large, and relatively flat, water and waste points are never far away and you are usually able to see the sea. This isn’t the cheapest site in the area but the fact that we keep going back must say something.

The site is always very well kept and tidy. It’s always been a quite site and if there is any noise late evening time, the warden deals with it very swiftly. The rest of the staff really put themselves out during our stay this year when there was a huge storm that literally tore tents and awnings apart ! There must have been 3 or 4 of them helping everyone to collect their belongings and pack away in safety, it was actually comical (after the clear up was done) how wet and dirty they all got, especially since most of them weren’t on duty. 10/10 for customer service then.

The beach is literally a stone’s throw away, down some steps at one end of the site and this is one of the attractions for us. Once on the beach it’s about a 10 minute walk into Sherringham with its many pubs and cafes. If you are feeling brave you can go the opposite way and walk to Cromer but it will take you around 45 minutes. A walk up “Beeston Bump” is worth the effort as well for the views. There’s loads to do and see around this area and we always come back after the 5 weeks annoyed that we have forgotten to do so many things !

The only slight negative we have, and it is slight, is that the toilet and shower blocks aren’t as modern as on some of the other local sites. That said they are usually clean enough and I believe that the owners have to move them during the closed season so are unable to build a brick toilet block. We did mention last year that there wasn’t always hot water and the management obviously listen to comments because it has been sorted for this season.

I can’t praise this site enough, so much so that we are going to have 6 to 8 weeks there next season. I can’t wait.
